rain all the time

How I love the rain,
It leaves me.
Alone,
In the streets.

Pouring down,
Cleansing thirst.
Selecting the strong,
From the weak.

Hide they can,
Faces all the way down.
Cars lowering speed,
They begin to care.

But my mind,
Awaits the rain.
My hair hungers,
For it's humidity.

Drops start,
Penetrating.
Into my skull,
Down to my thoughts.

How cannot I?
But adore,
This dripping therapy,
Free and everywhere,
But just today,
Coming down for me.
